The Sinulog Festival, a major religious and cultural event in the Philippines, is back in Cebu City with a celebration on January 19th.
The Sinulog Festival is officially returning to the center of Cebu City , welcoming thousands of devotees, tourists, and festival-goers. This year, the festival day will be on January 19, reverting to the tradition of celebrating the feast day on the third Sunday of January. The theme of the 2025 celebration is “ Sinulog : One Beat, One Dance, One Vision,” a nod to the traditional theme of the Sinulog in previous years.
The Sinulog Foundation Incorporated (SFI) has confirmed the date and is coordinating with law enforcement to ensure a safe experience for participants. Events include the Basilica del Sto Nino at 2:30 pm, the Basilica Pilgrim Center at 6:00 pm, and the Cebu City Sports Center at 6:00 pm
