The Davao Region Police Office (PRO-Davao) seized over ₱1.7 million worth of illegal drugs in a series of operations conducted from January 13 to 19, 2025. These operations resulted in the arrest of 57 individuals, highlighting the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs in the region.

ILLEGAL drugs worth ₱1.7 million were seized in the Davao Region from January 13 to January 19, 2025, due to community cooperation and swift police action.PRO- Davao Region Spokesperson Police Major Catherine Dela Rey said this is part of the ongoing intensified campaign against illegal drugs. She emphasized the key role of concerned citizens in reporting illegal activities.“This is a coordination effort between the PNP and the community.

Many concerned individuals have provided tips or information about illegal activities,” said Major Dela Rey.According to PRO-Davao, 48 police operations were conducted, including buy-busts, search warrant executions, arrests, checkpoints, and police responses. These efforts led to the seizure of 249.4551 grams of shabu and 66.1570 grams of dried marijuana leaves .The operations also resulted in the arrest of 57 individuals, including 14 high-value targets and 43 street-level offenders .
