After the death of Cassius, the world's largest crocodile in captivity, a fisherman in Tawi-Tawi, Philippines, caught a massive saltwater crocodile, potentially challenging the current title holder, Krakatoa from Australia.

Ngunit sa pagpanaw ni Cassius, may ibang buwaya na inaalagaan sa Queensland sa Australia ang pinaniniwalaang may bagong hawak ng titulo na tinatayang nasa limang metro, o mahigit 16 na talampakan ang haba gaya ni "Krakatoa." Ayon kay Rainier Manalo, MSC., Marine Biologist/Program Director, Crocodylus Porosus Philippines Inc., ang nahuling buwaya ay hindi umano masyadong maganda ang katawan.
