A 55-year-old house caretaker died after she was stabbed by a drunk tenant following a tension over the latter’s unpaid rent in Antipolo City.According to EJ Gomez’s report in "State of the Nation" on Wednesday, the 36-year-old suspect has yet to pay P5,000 for two months of rent.The police said the 36-year-old suspect, who was drunk at that time, confronted the victim.
“Hinabaan ko naman po 'yung pasensiya kaso dumating sa puntong napuno rin ako. Blackout po ako, ma’am, lasing na lasing ako eh,” he said.He is now under the custody of the Antipolo Police and will be charged for murder.GMA Integrated News has reached out to the family of the victim for a statement.
