University of the East (UE) remains undefeated after two matches, leading the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Under-21 Championship National Men's Division. UE achieved victories against Umingan and City of Naga-Cebu Volleyball Club, showcasing strong setting and blocking strategies. Meanwhile, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University secured a win against City of Naga-Cebu Volleyball Club in a thrilling fifth-set match.
MANILA, Philippines — University of the East turned out undefeated in first two matches and took the solo lead, beating Umingan, 25-22, 25-15, 25-14, on Thursday in the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Under-21 Championship National Men's Division at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Earlier, Notre Dame of Dadiangas University bounced back from a fifth set beating to Umingan in the opener after taking down City of Naga-Cebu Volleyball Club also in another fifth setter, 27-25, 20-25, 18-25, 25-18, 15-11, for a 1-1 record in Group B.
