Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young believes the new global pact to protect 30 per cent of the planet’s natural environment by 2030 “is an important step forward for the whole world”.
The COP15 biodiversity summit was held in Montreal, where the new global pact of protecting 30 per cent of the planet by 2030 was officiated.
“Well this conference was hailed as the Paris agreement for nature,” Senator Hanson-Young told Sky News Australia.
