Nine people died that day — more than a third of the total deaths reported during the unrest nationwide — as soldiers hustled from the barracks as part of a 30-day state of emergency and indiscriminately fired tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammo into large crowds."He wasn't armed," said his father, Reider Rojas, who was dressed in black.
