Taguig City has announced designated firecracker zones for the New Year's celebration, strictly prohibiting the use of firecrackers outside these zones. The designated areas are equipped with safety measures like fire trucks, ambulances, and response teams. A no-firecracker zone has been declared in several areas across the city.
“Pursuant to Ordinance No. 87, Series of 2018, the City Government of Taguig, together with the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Barangay Officials, strictly prohibits any person from selling, distributing, discharging, exploding, or causing to discharge or explode any firecracker, pyrotechnic device, or any similar device outside the designated firecracker zones,” stated the city’s Public Information Office in an advisory.

Teresa Elementary School or the open space at the back of the Barangay Hall in Bagumbayan– The Samama open area in Purok 5 extension Tabing IlogIn District 2, the designated areas are:– 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City – Zone 8 at the corner of Ballecer Street in front of Em’s Elementary School
