RJSCC 6 kicks off checkpoint operations for 2025 elections

The Regional Joint Security Control Center 6, led by the Commission on Elections , launched simultaneous checkpoint operations on January 12, 2025, at the Police Regional Office 6, Camp Martin T. Delgado, Iloilo City. These operations are part of the preparations for the upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Parliamentary Elections . The launch was led by COMELEC 6 Regional Election Director Atty. Dennis L.

Ausan highlighted the RJSCC’s main responsibility for implementing the gun ban, noting that checkpoint operations are being launched nationwide. 'We are entering the official campaign season for the National campaign, which will start on February 10, and the local election campaign period, which will begin on March 20 and end on May 10, 2025,' said Atty.
