An unidentified remnant of a red group was killed in an encounter with the troops of the Army’s 12th Infantry “Lick ‘Em” Battalion on December 28, 2024,
at Sitio Naatip, Barangay Lahug, Tapaz, Capiz.
After the encounter, the enemy withdrew and scattered in different directions, leaving behind their dead comrade.In his message, MGen Marion Sison, the Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, lauded the bravery and vigilance of the troops for their mission to ensure peace and security for the people of Panay.
