PHILIPPINE Red Cross Chairman Richard 'Dick' Gordon directed Luzon chapters of the PRC to be on stand-by and perform assessments in their respective areas of responsibility following the magnitude 7.0 quake in Abra on Wednesday morning.
This came after damage to several houses and infrastructure were reported in Abra and nearby areas.Gordon urged affected local government units and the Department of Public Works and Highways to assess the damage and safety of buildings and structures to ensure public safety.'Remember to stay alert and vigilant for any aftershocks,' he added.
