THE Philippine National Police has tasked all police commanders in Luzon, particularly those in areas affected by the 7.0 magnitude earthquake, to collaborate with the local disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office to maximize assistance to affected residents.
According to De Leon, an order was also issued to inspect the state of PNP buildings and establishments in earthquake-affected areas.'We also urged the police commanders to check on our personnel and their families' well-being.' 'Kung may mga personnel tayo na naapektuhan ng lindol, then they should be given the opportunity to go home to take care of their families,' De Leon added.
