The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) sent sleeping and hygiene kits to 425 individuals in Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinuat in Maguindanao on Sunday, Nov. 6.

The Philippine Red Cross sent sleeping and hygiene kits to 425 individuals in Barangay Awang, Datu Odin Sinuat in Maguindanao on Sunday, Nov. 6.This community, PRC said, was one of the hardest hit areas of recent tropical storm Paeng.

These kits include two plastic mats, mosquito nets, and blankets, 12 body soaps, five laundry soaps, 40 sanitary pads, towels, toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors.PRC said that it has also served hot meals to 803 individuals in Barangay Dinaig and donated 10,000 liters of water in Barangay Bagumbayan.

The organization noted that since Oct. 28, its relief operation equipment, staff, and volunteers were deployed to areas affected by Paeng.
