Muslims gather for prayers to celebrate Eid al-Adha, one of the major holidays in the Islamic calendar, known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” at La Paz Plaza in Iloilo City.
PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday prayed for Filipinos to have the courage and wisdom in facing adversity during the commemoration of Eid’l Adha or the Sacrifice. He also stressed the wisdom of the “act of letting go,” and seeking divine guidance, when faced with such challenges. He recognized the importance of such values in the Bagong Pilipinas campaign of his administration, which aims to improve the country’s economy and governance through the promotion of positive Filipino traits.
