But more importantly, the food is exceptional, offering a true showcase of delicious Filipino cuisine. Indeed, hail to the culinary capital that is Pampanga. My maternal ancestors must be beaming with pride.A recent trip to Pampanga allowed us to revisit this famed restaurant.
The fresh ferns were perfectly paired with the salted eggs, it could easily turn a non-vegetable lover into a fan.The malunggay stood out because it was a showcase of the creativity of the restaurant. The celery leaves were used to garnish the famous tokwa't baboy dish while the stalks were sustainably used in the delicious malunggay soup. Think of it as egg drop soup but loaded with vegetables.
