The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict is developing a national action plan for Unity, Peace, and Development for the years 2024-2028.
In this initiative, the task force is actively engaging with civil society organizations to gather input for the plan.During a dialogue held at La Breza Hotel in Quezon City, Undersecretary Ernesto C. Torres, Jr., the NTF-ELCAC Executive Director, emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving lasting peace and development.“We are requesting our civil society partners to suspend judgment and understand the true nature of the task force,” he stated.
“This dialogue is an opportunity to forge partnerships and work together towards our common objective of peace and development.” This collaboration aims to ensure that the plan addresses the needs and aspirations of different communities, emphasizing inclusivity and partnership in achieving lasting peace and development in the Philippines.Uniting Stakeholders: Building resilience against threats to peace and unity by engaging all stakeholders, including local and international Filipino communities.
