ON this day in 1932, under the visionary leadership of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud — may he rest in peace — the journey to unify the modern Saudi state began, culminating in the creation of what we now know as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia .This historic achievement was the symbol of the founding king's vision, which prevailed over immense challenges to establish the kingdom we know today, marking its 94th anniversary of unification.
