Analysis from The Age has revealed 16 of Victoria's top 20 performing schools are government schools. Some of the top performing Victorian schools include Dandenong North Primary School, a government school in south-east Melbourne, Beverley Hills Primary School, a government school in north-east Melbourne, and Kings Park Primary School, a government school in the city's north-west.
NAPLAN, which stands for the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy, is a series of tests focused on basic skills administered to Australian students in years 3, 5, 7 and 9.Continue reading
