MANILA, Philippines — For the second time, Philippine national junior record holder Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh will be seeing action in the finals of the 2024 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup third leg in Singapore.

Mojdeh will face off against top-notch swimmers in the women's 400m Individual Medley, including American Katie Grimes — a silver medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics.Also in the finals are Mary Sophie Harvey of Canada, Tara Kinder of Australia, Waka Kobori of Japan, Yiyan Victoria Lim of Singapore , Nikolera Trnikova of Slovakia, and Apple Jean Gwinn of Taiwan.The 18-year old Filipino-Iranian beauty is set to showcase her skills alongside these world-class athletes in the finals.

Despite battling fatigue and injury, Mojdeh welcomes the opportunity to compete against the world's best and enjoys Singapore's cuisine and atmosphere.This is Mojdeh's second appearance in the finals after making it to the eight-swimmer final round of the 200m butterfly on Thursday.She wound up eighth overall in that event with a time of 2:16.58.
