MANILA, Philippines — Philippine national junior record holder Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh is ready for the prestigious 2024 World Aquatics Swimming World Cup , which will be held in three different venues. The 18-year-old Mojdeh will lead the national swimming team's campaign in the world meet, featuring top swimmers from around the globe.Dubbed as 'water beast,' Mojdeh is ramping up her training to peak condition ahead of the World Cup .
She previously reached the semifinals of the World Juniors Swimming Championships in Lima, Peru, in 2022, and set national junior records in Netanya, Israel, in 2023.'We're so proud of her. It's her first international tournament as a national team member in the seniors division. It's a great opportunity to hone her skills and learn from world-class swimmers,' said BEST team manager Joan Mojdeh, Micaela's mother.
