THE Philippine swimming team wrapped up its campaign with three bronze medals in the 13th Asean Schools Games held in Da Nang, Vietnam.

Brent International School-Manila standout Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh, who served as Team Philippines' flag bearer in the opening ceremony, led the squad with a couple of bronze medals in the girls' division.Mojdeh opened her campaign with a third-place finish in the 100m butterfly — checking in at one minute and 4.0 seconds just a hairline behind two Thai bets.On the final day, the Philippine national junior record holder secured another bronze — this time in the 200m butterfly .

I would like to thank everyone who supported not only me but our whole team — our parents, coaches, officials and to all who prayed for us,' said Mojdeh.San Beda University's Albert Jose Amaro II also made his presence felt by winning the country's third bronze medal.Amaro registered 25.45 seconds to claim the third place honors in the boys' 50m butterfly event.
