A 65-year-old human rights activist named Daniel Segura Robiato was critically injured when his Honda Click motorcycle collided with a dump truck on National Highway, Barangay South Poblacion, Dakbayan sa Naga. Pablo Caayo Catipay, a 53-year-old resident of West Poblacion, Naga City, was driving the dump truck. The accident occurred when Robiato's motorcycle was in the outer lane and the dump truck was in the inner lane. Robiato failed to yield and the dump truck hit him, causing him to be ejected from the motorcycle and collide with the dump truck. The dump truck was not equipped with a brake and the impact was fatal. Robiato was pronounced dead on arrival at the Infirmary Hospital. The Naga City Police Station has filed charges of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide against Pablo Caayo Catipay.
