Malacañang announced that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s legislative objectives are progressing smoothly, citing the enactment of numerous bills into law, including 11 priority measures from the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (Ledac). The newly signed laws cover various areas such as government procurement, anti-financial scams, digital transactions, agriculture, maritime zones, defense, corporate recovery, education, and disaster response.

THE legislative objectives of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. 's administration was on track, Malacañang said Tuesday.This was evident in the enactment of several bills of national significance into laws, including 11 priority measures that came from the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council , the Presidential Communications Office said.

For 2024, President Marcos has signed and approved over 100 laws for both local and national levels. These laws are highly valuable and aligned with the government's pursuit of national progress,' the PCO said.Speaker Martin Romualdez said the House of Representatives has approved 27 of the 28 Ledac priority bills, as well as 61 out of 64 priority measures under the Common Legislative Agenda for the 19th Congress.
