Marcos Jr. niadtong Lunes ang balaod sa 2025 national budget ug gi-veto ang kapin sa P194 billion sa line items nga iyang giisip nga dili uyon sa mga prayoridad sa iyang administrasyon.Sa iyang pakigpulong, gipasiugda ni Marcos nga ang General Appropriations Act 2025 gidisenyo aron mapadayon ang pagtubo sa ekonomiya ug pagpauswag sa kinabuhi sa umaabot nga mga henerasyon ug kinahanglan nga maampingon nga i-curate ug susihon.

Kini nga mga pagtibhang naglakip sa pipila ka mga proyekto ubos sa Department of Public Works and Highways ug ang pag-usbaw sa unprogrammed appropriations sa 300 porsyento.Gipasabot usab sa Presidente nga ang Ayuda sa Kapos ng Kita Program kinahanglang ipaubos sa convergence process nga maglambigit sa Department of Social Welfare and Development , Department of Labor and Employment , ug National Economic and Development Authority .
