Water firms Manila Water and Maynilad are providing services and allocating resources to help the government in its fight against the coronavirus disease.

These are the Philippine International Convention Center Forum Tent, the World Trade Center in Pasay City, and the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila City. The three facilities are projected to accommodate close to 1,000 patients and seen to decongest hospitals now working at maximum capacity. “Maynilad is donating the water requirements of these facilities for the entire duration of its operations as quarantine centers,” it said in a statement on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, east zone concessionaire Manila Water said it has installed static water tanks in six locations in Metro Manila for use in disinfecting vehicles plying major roads.* Ortigas Avenue extension/SM East in Cainta, Rizal* J.P.

Maynilad said it is also providing water to select disinfection stations of the DPWH in the national capital region.
