A 24-year-old man was arrested for harassing a 22-year-old woman in Sitio Sambag, Barangay Tabok, Mandaue City , on Thursday evening, February 13, 2025. The suspect, identified only as alias 'Jan-jan,' was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. by responding officers led by Pat Alabado. The victim, alias 'In-in,' a 22-year-old female resident of the same barangay, reported the incident to authorities. According to the investigation, the incident occurred around 5 p.m.

when the victim was on her way home. The suspect was reportedly waiting outside an apartment for her arrival. As she passed by, the suspect allegedly touched her left arm and made an inappropriate comment in the vernacular, saying, 'Gwapa kayo ka, ma’am. Lami kay ka, nya dako pa jud ug totoy,' which translates to an offensive and suggestive remark. Following the victim's complaint, authorities responded immediately and brought both parties to the police station for further investigation.
