Vice President Leni Robredo is under quarantine after a close-in security tested positive for COVID-19. On Facebook Live on Wednesday, Dec. 29, Robredo, who is running for president, said she would have wanted to continue visiting areas affected by Typhoon Odette, but she has to follow health protocols.The Vice President went to Bohol and Dinagat Islands on Tuesday, Dec. 28. She also visited the relief operations center for Odette victims in Quezon City.She also gave assurance that their relief operations for areas affected by the typhoon will continue.
Her daughter Tricia also tested positive for COVID on Dec. 24 during routine testing for arriving passengers. She and her sisters Aika and Jillian arrived from the United States.“Tricia was asymptomatic and she already tested negative for three days, but we continue to follow protocols,” Robredo said in Filipino.
