Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental demonstrates solidarity by providing P1 million in financial aid to four LGUs impacted by the Kanlaon Volcano eruption. Mayor Miranda emphasizes the importance of reciprocating past support and expresses readiness to shelter evacuees.

In a gesture of solidarity, Kabankalan City Mayor Benjie Miranda presented a total of P1 million in financial assistance to the affected LGUs. Mayor Miranda disbursed P400,000 to La Castellana town and P200,000 each to Moises Padilla town, as well as the cities of Bago and La Carlota .
