Terrafirma held a slight lead at 79-78 with 2:22 remaining in the third quarter, but Eastern unleashed a decisive 10-0 run to end the period with an 88-79 advantage.
The Hong Kong-based team continued their momentum in the fourth quarter, extending their lead to a commanding 29 points, 131-102, with 1:23 left on the clock. Eastern ultimately outscored Terrafirma 45-31 in the final period, sealing their victory. Eastern head coach Mensur Bajramovi? acknowledged the team's initial struggles but praised their response. 'The game started after the first 24 minutes for us. We were not good the first two quarters, like the energy since the first minute was not on the level that we need for a win so we had a meeting in the locker room and my players came a little bit better than the beginning,' he said. Ramon Cao spearheaded Eastern's offense with 23 points, while Steven Guinchard and Kobey Lam contributed with 20 points each. With this win, Eastern improved their record to 7-3. Chris McLaughlin was limited to just five minutes of playing time due to an apparent ankle injury. For Terrafirma, Brandon Edwards led the team with 26 points, along with 17 rebounds and three assists. Aljun Melecio added 17 points to the Dyip's effort.
