‘Who can’t remember their first job and the person who gave them their first chance?’ asks one of the cafe’s board members, Sam Herszberg.“There are hundreds of thousands of people with disabilities who are willing to work but they are too often overlooked,” Stern says. “Who can’t remember their first job and the person who gave them their first chance?” Herszberg says.
