The Department of Social Welfare and Development-Davao Region has launched the First 1,000 Days Cash Grant (F1KD) program for 4Ps beneficiaries. The program provides P350 per month to pregnant women and children aged 0-2 years old to improve maternal and child health and nutrition.

THE Department of Social Welfare and Development-Davao Region has provided cash grant s to approximately 6,000 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program under its new First 1,000 Days Cash Grant initiative.According to Margie Cabido-Sobretodo, 4Ps Division Chief at DSWD -Davao, around 6,970 of the 262,000 4Ps beneficiaries qualified for the program, which grants P350 per month exclusively to pregnant women and children aged zero to two years old.

Sobretodo said that the F1KD program is available to pregnant women and children aged zero to two years old who are active and registered members of the 4Ps. She added that through this initiative, 4Ps beneficiaries can enhance their awareness of health and nutrition services, focusing on the foundational development of their children.
