In a decision promulgated on Wednesday, Judge Rafael Hipolito sentenced Roger Dominguez, Jason Miranda and Rolando Talban to reclusion perpetua, or 40 years of imprisonment, for carnapping with homicide. The suspects will not be eligible for parole. The group’s leader, Raymond Dominguez, died “of natural causes” while detained at the New Bilibid Prison in 2021. —ABBY BOISER
