Sampaloc town in Quezon has been declared insurgency-free.
The Local Government Unit, the Philippine National Police , the Armed Forces of the Philippines and other stakeholders signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security
The MOU was signed on Tuesday, March 14, with Sampaloc becoming the 11th insurgency-free town in Quezon province. Town mayo Noel Angelo Devanadera expressed his gratitude not only on the gallant and dedicated forces, but also to the partner agencies and the people of the entire Municipality of Sampaloc for working so hard to achieve the shared dream of safe, secured and communist-free society which are necessary for a town or province to progress.
