December witnessed particularly high travel demand, with 2.6 million passengers flown during the month, representing a 31.4 percent increase compared to the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic for December soared by 32 percent year-on-year, while international passengers jumped by 29.5 percent.Cebu Pacific attributed the growth in traffic to the holiday travel season and supported initiatives such as route launches from new bases in Iloilo and Davao for domestic flights, along with increased frequencies and capacity to Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Hong Kong. The airline also highlighted its successful performance at Clark International Airport, exceeding 1 million passengers in 2024, marking a 36 percent growth from the previous year due to expanded flight operations from the provincial hub. Chief Executive Officer Mike Szucs expressed confidence in the airline's strategic positioning to capitalize on the Philippines' economic growth and robust travel demand. He emphasized the market's ability to absorb the increased growth rate in the fourth quarter of 2024, with stable to positive load factors compared to the previous year. Szucs further noted the airline's commitment to operational reliability and stability through ongoing management of powdered metal issues with Pratt & Whitney engines, while simultaneously optimizing capacity to meet the rising consumer demand
