Justin Brownlee has been perceived as a 'hero' by basketball fans for leading Barangay Ginebra and Gilas Pilipinas into several battles.The naturalized Filipino, however, remained a fan at heart and revealed that Sisi Rondina is his volleyball idol. Brownlee was at the Philsports Arena on Thursday, March 14, to watch the Premier Volleyball League 2024 All-Filipino Conference game between Rondina's Choco Mucho and Cignal HD.
'I have not seen her play professionally live but when I saw her she was just as exciting . Saving the ball, great defense, even spiking the ball against other taller players.'Rondina is only 5-foot-6 but plays like a giant on the floor. She led her team to its fourth victory with 23 points.'I like how she plays with a lot of passion and she is all around,' Brownlee said.The reigning PVL Most Valuable Player , meanwhile, shared her admiration for Brownlee. 'It is an honor.
