The Department of Education (DepEd) has launched a training program for English, science, and mathematics (ESM) teachers in collaboration with Khan Academy and Frontlearners. The program aims to improve learning outcomes by equipping teachers with cutting-edge tools and strategies to provide world-class instruction. Following the training, eight-week learning sessions will be conducted for students from January 16 to March 10, 2025, with trained ESM teachers acting as facilitators.

THE Department of Education has organized training for English , science and mathematics teachers and learning sessions for learners and their parents to support school activities.As part of continuing efforts to improve learning outcomes , the training sessions in partnership with Khan Academy and Frontlearners are expected to enable teachers to conduct learning sessions better, leading to improved academic performance aligned with international standards.

The series of activities started on Jan. 6, 2025, with the preparation of Regional ESM supervisors to create their classes on the Khan Academy platform, where ESM teachers create their respective accounts to join the session.It will be followed by an exam on the platform for all ESM teachers in each region.
