The Department of Education (DepEd) is partnering with Khan Academy and Frontlearners to provide training for English, Science, and Mathematics (ESM) teachers and conduct learning sessions for students to enhance academic performance.
PASIG CITY — As part of continuing efforts to improve learning outcomes, the Department of Education has organized training for English , Science , and Mathematics teachers and learning sessions for learners and their parents to support school activities.The training sessions, in partnership with Khan Academy and Frontlearners, are expected to enable teachers to conduct learning sessions better, leading to improved academic performance aligned with international standards.
The series of activities starts on January 6 with the preparation of Regional ESM supervisors to create their classes on the Khan Academy platform, where ESM teachers will create their respective accounts to join the session. This activity will be followed by an exam on the platform for all ESM teachers in each region.
