A young woman is fighting for life in hospital after being pulled unconscious from South Cronulla Beach. The woman, aged in her 20s, had been swimming with a friend at the beach when it’s believed she may have become caught in a rip. 7NEWS
The woman was pulled from the water by bystanders and was unconscious when paramedics arrived.
The woman’s friend, with whom she had been swimming, had swallowed some water and was taken to the same hospital in a stable condition. Earlier in the week, a five-year-old girl in Victoria and a scuba diver in NSW were added to the tragic toll.at a popular holiday spot in Nagambie in central Victoria while out with family.
