Police are investigating an incident outside a home in Werribee South that left a woman in a critical condition in hospital with burns.

Police said the woman, aged in her 30s, was in the front yard of a home in Rivercoast Road in Werribee South when the incident occurred about 2am on Wednesday.Two other people suffered minor injuries and a man and two women are being interviewed by police.
