CONTRIBUTED - ContributedAlong with many top placings in category, which is for a specific age category and dance genre, the two were both in groups that competed in the finals for overall placings.
Forrest came first in category for her jazz solo"I Got You" and received a judges' award for her modern solo"Yellow Brick Road." At Munro Park in North Sydney on Aug. 11, Iris Higgins supports Isabella Forrest in a pose that was in their duo"Thank God For You" which they competed at the IDO World Dance Challenge international competition in Mexico at the end of July. NICOLE SULLIVAN/CAPE BRETON POST - Nicole SullivanForrest was the first one chosen to be a part of Creo's Canada National Team in 2021.
These trips were every few months but choreography and practices with the national team were weekly, usually on Sundays with Forrest and Higgins participating through Zoom video calls for a year.
