The main reason Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese is limiting his media presence is because whenever he talks, “Labor’s weaknesses are exposed”, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
It comes as Prime Miniter Scott Morrison has slightly increased his lead as preferred prime minister, but Labor remains in poll position as the two-party gap remains unchanged. An exclusive Newspoll conducted by The Australian showed Labor maintain its 53 to 47 per cent preference over the Coalition – meaning it would secure majority government.
“Their leader Anthony Albanese has hardly been seen for five days, and Labor’s slide in the polls looks to have been arrested,” Mr Kenny said.“There’s no reason he couldn’t be doing endless television and radio interviews.”
