There’s no way Katherine Deves would win her seat if the green left activists just ignored her “like they do most candidates,” says Sky News host Chris Kenny.
It comes as Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s handpicked candidate for the seat of Warringah was thrusted further into the spotlight over now-deleted social media posts regarding transgender people.
“If they had chosen just to treat her like any other candidate, that is mainly ignore her like they do most candidates, hardly anyone would have heard of her, and there’s no way she’d win the seat,” Mr Kenny said. “It is those in the media and politics who are so desperate to cancel her and silence her views who have put her name and her issues up in lights.”
