Westmincom has new chief of unified command staff

THE Western Mindanao Command has initiated changes in the leadership in one of its offices at its headquarters, the military said Friday, March 28, 2025.Colonel Montano Almodovar, assistant shief of Unified Command Staff for Intelligence, has been assigned as the new head of the Office of the Chief of Unified Command Staff, replacing Colonel Emmanuel Cabasan.

In his remarks during the ceremony, Cabasan expressed his profound appreciation and gratitude to all the Westmincom chiefs he had the opportunity to serve under. Cabasan also thanked his mentors, seniors, colleagues, and the Westmincom staff for being part of the meaningful journey of leadership that brought out the best in him. Almodovar welcomed the new responsibility with optimism.
