It took one month to reach 100,000 cases in September compared to only 24 days in August. Total cases breached 100,000 and 200,000 both in August, and 300,000 in September.
NEARLY 3,000 cases of infection were added to the Philippines’ coronavirus tally on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
Under the time-based methodology, coronavirus-positive individuals with no or mild symptoms of coronavirus disease 2019 are considered recovered after more than 14 days of having no symptoms. Covid-19 has an incubation period of 14 days. Ten cases that were previously tagged as recovery were reclassified to deaths after final validation while 25 duplicates were removed from the total case count.
