'Very concerned sila': Bangsamoro government wants representation in the anti-terrorism council

MAYNILA — Nais ng Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao government na mapasama sa itatalagang anti-terrorism council sa nakaambang pagpapatupad ng kontrobersiyal na Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.

Paliwanag sa Telerdayo ni BARMM chief minister Al Haj Murad Ebrahim, gusto nilang may kinatawan sila sa konseho para magkaroon ng boses ang mga Bangsamoro. Partikular anya rito ang depinisyon ng terorista at ang deklarasyon ng terorista. "Iyung mga constituent namin talagang very concerned sila. So I think that will appease them pagka nalaman nila 'yung BARMM ay miyembro naman ng council or having a big role, important role in the council," aniya.

Maalalang noong Biyernes ay nilagdaan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang batas, sa kabila ng mga batikos mula sa iba't ibang sektor.
