WASHINGTON, DC, USA – US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy will host a meeting in California on Wednesday, April 5, with Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen, his office said, part of a sensitive US stopover that has drawn Chinese threats of retaliation.
