Thousands of relocated urban poor families are expected to benefit from multiple government services of the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) caravan slated on July 12 at Barangay Pinugay Phase V Covered Court, Southville 9, Baras, Rizal.
PCUP Chairman and CEO Alvin Feliciano said the resettlement site is one of the target communities of the agency for the extension of basic services to families who previously reside at the waterways and were affected by demolition and eviction.
The caravan will bring free medical and dental check-up from the DOH and PCSO with free medicines from PAGCOR. The PCUP chief said DOLE and Public Employment and Services Office will conduct a job fair with opportunities for jobs abroad.
