A brewing storm or low-pressure area will bring rains over different parts of Luzon, the state weather bureau said Saturday.
The weather system was spotted 150 kilometers southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan at 3 p.m., said PAGASA.
The storm will bring moderate to heavy rainshowers over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Aurora. PAGASA also said light to moderate winds will prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora with slight to moderate disturbance over seas.
Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible hazards such as landslides, mudslides, rockslides and flash floods.
