The UPEI Panthers play in the Atlantic University Sport. - Contributedremained at No. 7 for the second week in a rowThe Panthers, who are off to a 2-0 start in the Atlantic University Sport conference, did not play last week. UPEI’s road game against the Saint Mary’s Huskies on Sept. 23 was postponed because of post-tropical storm Fiona.
The Panthers are scheduled to return to action against the St. Francis Xavier X-Women in Antigonish, N.S., on Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. UPEI opened the regular season with wins of 32-5 over the X-Women on Sept. 10 and 38-5 versus the Acadia Axewomen on Sept. 17. UPEI’s next home game at MacAdam Field on the UPEI campus is against Saint Mary’s on Oct. 15 at 2 p.m.
