CUPE Local 3324 has reached a tentative agreement with Island EMS. - Dave Stewart • The GuardianCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The union representing P.E.I. paramedics has reached a tentative agreement with Island EMS.

CUPE Local 3324, which represents all Island paramedics, announced the agreement on Monday, Feb. 13. Next, the union will present the tentative agreement to its members for a ratification vote. "We believe the tentative agreement is a fair and a respectful deal," said CUPE Local 3324 president Jason Woodbury."Our bargaining team will be recommending the members to ratify the agreement."

CUPE Local 3324 will hold ratification meetings across the province in early March, with the process expected to be completed by the end of the month.
